Their Love Story

For years, Chance and Taylor moved through the same circles. Their families shared roots, their dads grew up together, and their nanas were neighbors… yet somehow, they never crossed paths. Looking back, it feels like life was saving their “meet cute” for the exact right moment.

One ordinary day at Taylor’s nana’s house, a little boy named Carter ran out with the sweetest smile and asked to pet her dog. His excitement was pure sunshine. Taylor knelt down laughing with him, not realizing this tiny moment was about to change everything. A few minutes later, Chance walked up to get him… and that’s how they met. From there, everything felt easy, natural, and just plain right.

Five years later, Chance proposed in Charlotte with giant balloons spelling “Marry Me.” Taylor had planned the whole weekend for his birthday, and that was the only way he could truly surprise her… and he absolutely did. They celebrated at Fahrenheit Rooftop Bar and Restaurant afterward.

Favorite Moments

Eloping in Greece was the most magical, stress-free experience. With only their little one and Taylor’s mom there, it was intimate, intentional, and completely focused on what mattered most.

Did anything go wrong?

Nothing. It was seamless and perfect.

Anything you’d do differently?

I wish I did more research on my videographer. I hated my video.

One piece of advice

Remember the day is for YOU, not everyone else. Once I realized a traditional wedding was mostly about pleasing others, that’s when I said let’s elope. The money we would’ve spent entertaining everyone else turned into a 10 day Europe vacation.
