Their Love Story
Brooke and Joe met on Tinder and yes, it was a little embarrassing at first… but now they totally own it. Two years later, Joe proposed in the Smoky Mountains during a trip with friends, and it was the kind of moment that instantly becomes a forever memory.
Fast forward to August in Charlevoix, Michigan: a Castle Farms wedding day that felt like the perfect mix of romance, celebration, and real life joy. Their relationship has been full of travel stories, nights out with friends, and raising their mini goldendoodle, Duke.
Fun fact that makes this even more iconic: Brooke didn’t just meet Joe on an app… she met all four of her bridesmaids on Bumble BFF. Honestly? The internet understood the assignment.
Favorite Moments
A Castle Farms summer wedding with 150 of their favorite people, the dream team by their side, and a whole lot of love in the air. Brooke’s favorite part was how smoothly the day felt from her perspective… because her people had her back in the best way.
“There were minor things that went wrong, but my coordinator and bridesmaids worked together to make sure that I did not notice!”
Did anything go wrong?
Only small stuff. Photos between the ceremony and reception took longer than expected, so Brooke and Joe were a little late to their own reception… and somehow no one even noticed.
Anything you’d do differently?
More time for pictures, and more pictures with guests. The day flies, and those guest photos become little time capsules you’ll treasure.
One piece of advice
Splurge on your photographer and or videographer. That is how you will remember your day, and it is SO worth investing in your memories. And don’t forget the fur babies… include them in your special day. Someday you’ll thank yourself for it.
